Protein Power Up

Protein is very important for both children and adults. Growing children need protein to help grow and build strong muscles. Proteins are also the building blocks of many other body parts, including hair, nails, skin, and even internal organs.

In this activity, children will be able to identify some protein foods, describe how protein helps our bodies, and will participate in making a healthy recipe.
